Emilia Clarke age
Born Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke on the 23rd of October 1986 in London, United Kingdom. age is 32 years. Her nationality is British,
The game of Thrones star underwent life-saving surgery after suffering two cases of an enlarged blood vessel in the brain in 2011 and 2013.
The 35-year-old actress recalled how she used lines from the successful fantasy series in which she played Daenerys Targaryen-to try to help her "regain consciousness" during an aneurysm and admitted that she is lucky that she is still verbal.
Speaking with Sophie Raworth on the BBC's "Sunday Morning", she recalled: "it was the most excruciating pain, severe vomiting and trying to regain consciousness; I kept asking myself all these questions.
"I hilariously continued to say lines from the show in my head. If you vomit and have a headache, it's not good for your brain.
"I was 22 [when she had her first aneurysm] but it was helpful having "Game Of Thrones" to sweep me up and give me that purpose.
"The amount of my brain that is no longer usable-it is remarkable that I can speak, sometimes clearly, and live my life completely normally without any repercussions at all.
"I'm in a, really, really small minority of people who can survive."
"Because strokes, basically, as soon as no part of your brain gets blood for a second, it disappears.
"And so the blood finds a different way around but then all that is missing is gone. It kind of shows how little of our brains we use."
Emilia immediately returned to work on the HBO show after having emergency surgery and previously said that she developed anxiety while on set because she was constantly worried that she had an aneurysm.
She said in 2020: "I had a constant fear that I would have a brain aneurysm.
A brain aneurysm is a bulge or enlargement of a blood vessel caused by a weakening of the vascular wall, usually where it branches. In a conversation with BBC One on Sunday morning, Mrs. Clarke revealed that she survived two brain ruptures in 2011 and 2013.
And with any kind of brain injury, it leaves you with indescribable fatigue. I was trying very hard to keep it under wraps."
According to the Independent
Ms. Clark's memory has not suffered from long-term effects. However, it is said that she suffered from aphasia after an aneurysm, for which at one time she could not remember her name. But she put her medical problems behind her back and accepted her current state of health.
The 35-year-old said: "I thought,' Well, this is who you are. This is the brain that you have. So there's no point in constantly smashing your mind about what might not be there."
In 2019, the game of Thrones actor created a charity for brain injuries and stroke victims called the same as you.
