Left-hander Raimel Tapia made an offer, finishing 3 for 7 on the board with six RBIs and a Grand Slam tournament. That homer was the second inside-the-park job in Blue Jays franchise history. It is the first inside the Grand Slam Park in Melb since Michael A. Taylor did it for the Washington Nationals in 2017.

It is the second MLB franchise to be based outside the United States, and currently, the only team based outside the United States after the first Canadian franchise, the Montreal Expos, became the Washington Nationals in 2005.
